Enviro-Hammer Drill
Hydraulically driven at 10,000lbs a hit, 60 times a minute, Uniwide Drilling's Enviro-Hammer is a clean environmentally friendly method for driving 6 5/8 drill pipe into the ground. Our on-deck hydraulic 180 PSI air compressor blows drill cuttings up into the cyclone so our clients can visibly see anything 4" minus. This rig is well suited for well installation and soil testing in sand, gravel and dense cobble.

MST 1100 & MST 800 Track Machines
With a loaded weight of 20,000lbs with only 3.9 PSI ground pressure per square foot, Uniwide Drilling's Marooka 1100 drill provides our clients with an extremely versatile option for addressing a wide variety of drilling needs. The rubber tracks on this drill make it the perfect choice for drilling parking lots and roadways with no damage to concrete asphalt surfaces, to the most remote of Northern BCs uneven soft terrain that is not accessible by truck.

Truck Mounted Drills
Mounted on Freightliners smaller M2 trucks, Uniwide Drillings fleet of trucks provide the perfect, most efficient option for our clients who require a powerful drill in a relatively compact machine. With lots of deck space and ability to carry more weight we are able to bring extra supplies to finish the job. Compact enough for tight urban locations but significant ground clearance for rough uneven terrain.

Geoprobe Drill
Uniwide Drilling’s Geoprobe is a hydraulically powered soil probing unit. Our Geoprobe vibrates 3" OD pipe into the ground then samples are brought up in an acrylic tube and cut open to view. This compact tracked unit is ideal for areas of sand, silts and clays but has auger abilities as well for areas with more gravel.

Equipment Specs
Hollow Stem
These augers are built with a 4.25" inside diameter opening to allow access to the bottom of the hole without withdrawing the auger string. The augers act as a temporary casing during and at the completion of drilling to facilitate the sampling of sediment, water and installation of monitoring wells. We also have oversized hollow stem upon request.
Hammer Pipe
6 and 5/8" O.D dual-walled pipe threaded together and sealed with rubber o-rings. Air is forced downhole between the two walls then blows drill cuttings up through the 4"
I.D of the pipe.
Solid Stem
Has a 6" O.D.
Split Spoon
The split spoon sampler (ST) is ideal for providing detailed soil stratigraphy and is useful in determining where potential environmental constituents of concern may exist. The sampler is made from steel tube split lengthwise and held together by the two threaded ends, its 2' long with 2" O.D and 1⅜" I.D.
SPT Hammer
The automatic tri hammer is manufactured to comply with the standard penetration test. 140lb weight, 30" drop with 98% efficiency.
Shear Vane
The choice of these different sizes of vanes allows a good accuracy of undrained shear strength to be obtained for a relatively wide range.
